This weekend we celebrate fathers. I’m so happy and thankful to have some special ones in my life. My husband, Will Manso, is the most wonderful father to our daughter, Katelyn, and a fantastic husband. I would say he’s only second to my own father, Richard. My father sacrificed a lot for me and I will forever be thankful!
As for Will, you might see him on TV as the professional, main anchor of WPLG Local 10 News, but at home, he’s a softy and one little girl definitely has him wrapped around her finger. Our daughter, Katelyn, is so excited to celebrate Father’s Day. So, this week, I’m sharing some of Katelyn’s ideas for spending time with her dad; and remember, these don’t have to take place just on Father’s Day:
- MAKE HIM BREAKFAST IN BED
- TAKE HIM OUT TO THE BALLGAME
- TAKE HIM TO DINNER
- SPEND THE DAY AT THE BEACH AND POOL
- RIDE BIKES TOGETHER
- RELAX AND DO NOTHING TOGETHER
- GIVE HIM SOME ALONE TIME (not her favorite)
So whether you’re celebrating with your father, your brother, you husband or just friends, remember to thank the special man in your life for being who he is. Happy Father’s Day!
